Today, BIMobject® announces that the company has signed a development agreement with the French company Abvent, that will build an app to integrate the BIMobject Cloud and its product libraries in Twinmotion. The app will provide users of Twinmotion with extensive options when building 3D environments, by allowing access to objects from the BIMobject Cloud directly in the software.
Offering more than 30 000 BIM files, bimobject.com is one of the fastest growing digital platforms for BIM objects on the market. Making it possible for users worldwide to download objects in various file formats, BIMobject will together with Abvent be able to facilitate real time modeling of landscapes and sites in a 3D real-time quality, only seen in today’s games.
Abvent’s digital tool, Twinmotion, is an ideal solution for architects, engineers and professional designers who want to present projects to their clients before making them come to life. It allows modeling of sites and import of 3D models as well as direct integration and new fields of experimentation and assistance in designing, sharing and communicating projects. The software lets users add objects, control in real time the effects of wind, rain or clouds, add trees and plants, as well as the flow of vehicles or characters. Creating an app that integrates it with BIMobject’s libraries is the next step to offering a strong interactive tool for the future of 3D simulating.
”We welcome the first advanced 3D visualisation solution to join our fast growing community and BIM content platform. It is very exciting for us to get an app in TwinMotion as we have seen that the future of visualisation will be more “game like” with Augmented Reality as a sales and communications tool for architects, builders, developers and designers. With this agreement, the simulations will include real products and real materials from real manufacturers, making them more understandable and closer to the real and final result,” says Stefan Larsson, CEO and Founder of BIMobject AB.
“Abvent is proud to collaborate with the world's largest platform for BIM objects to implement their digital content directly in Abvent’s 3D Immersion software. This will equip Twinmotion with a constantly expanding library of real objects and materials from manufacturers all over the world,” says Xavier Soule, CEO at Abvent.
Since 1985, the Abvent Group has offered innovative image and design solutions for CAD/BIM professionals in the fields of architecture, design, and photography. Abvent's cutting edge approach to digital imagery has resulted in products and services that are innovative, powerful, and easy-to-use. Abvent develops Artlantis, a family of stand-alone 3D rendering applications developed especially for architects and designers; iVisit360 for Panoramas, iVisit360 VR Objects and animations; and Render[in], a powerful, fully-integrated rendering engine developed for SketchUp. Abvent is the worldwide distributor of Twinmotion, a visualization and 3D immersion software developed for architects, designers, and engineers.
