The BIMobject® Press room

“Made in Sweden” furniture available on the BIMobject® Portal

Flädie Furnitures are made of materials that have as little impact on the environment as possible; Flädie work exclusively with wood from trees and forests that are not endangered. The upholstery on sofas and armchairs consists exclusively of natural materials such as horsehair and flax batt. The fabrics are very durable wool without any chemical flame retardants or other hazardous substances. In this way, Flädie avoid both the petrochemical toxins and its negative effects while increasing the life of their furniture.

As a small, but exclusive and important newcomer to the market, Flädie have now decided to invest in BIM objects developed by BIMobject® in order to reach new markets in a cost efficient way. The BIM objects are available for AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and ArchiCAD. Follow the link to explore and download the objects for free: http://bimobject.com/product/m/fladiemobler

- We are proud to represent the craftsmanship and awareness that the brand of Flädie breathes. We share the values of environmental awareness and its positive impact and we gladly welcome this type of manufacturer to the BIMobject® Portal, said Alexander Steen, Nordic Business Manager at BIMobject.

- It is a huge challenge for small and unique furniture manufacturers to communicate its aim and reach a broad audience. As we make our furniture available on the BIMobject® Portal we are not only able to inspire architects and provide a larger environmentally friendly choice - but architects can find products that are important for each individual project. BIMobject® give Flädie Furnitures the opportunity to retain and share Nordic design and Swedish craftsmanship on a global scale, said Carl Jonson CEO of Flädie Furnitures.
