Schüco sun shading systems with active, electrically adjustable, horizontal / vertical, extruded, corrosion-resistant, aluminium louvre blades.
The regulations and requirements of the local building authority must be observed in all designs.

The width of the rectangular aluminium louvre blades is 250/300/400 mm.

The width of the parallelogram aluminium louvre blades is 300 mm.
Symmetrical positioning:
The louvre blades are sealed flush by means of side caps and positioned centrally with the Schüco system axes.

Asymmetrical positioning:
The width of the rectangular aluminium louvre blades is 400 mm. This louvre blade must be positioned off-centre (1/3 - 2/3 split) to the 22 mm system axis and sealed flush with the associated caps. The off-centre positioning allows the louvre blades to be positioned closer in front of a building structure while simultaneously enabling the louvre blades to turn out further starting from the louvre blade axis.

The central main chambers must be designed with dimensions 21 x 41 mm in order to accommodate the system axes or insert profiles. The insert profiles must be fabricated by the customer.

The distance between the rectangular louvre blades in the configuration without overlapping is 260/310/410 mm.

If the distance is less than this (for configurations with overlapping louvre blades, for example for the parallelogram louvre blade design), it must be ensured that the louvre blades are not able to collide with one another.

The horizontal louvre blades and connecting rods are mounted and held using maintenance-free plastic liners, in system-specific structural mullions, for connection to the Schüco façade structure (see also enclosed system illustration). The louvre blades are installed individually.

Control and shading:
The individual louvre blades are fully connected to one another by a set of rods and can be aligned using the system's pre-set 230 V AC electric linear drives. The angle of the rectangular and parallelogram aluminium louvre blades can be freely adjusted between 0° and 90°. The drives must be fitted with motor brackets and concealed cable channels. The Schüco control system for the drives is specified separately.
Note:
The degree of shading must take account of the physical properties and alignment of the building. Internal glare protection must also be taken into account and specified separately, for example when arranging computer workstations.
